Episcopal Charities

Corporately and as individuals, the people who are Church of the Holy Apostles support, in various ways, the twelve member social service agencies of Episcopal Charities in the Diocese of Chicago:


1.  Bishop Anderson House, providing pastoral care, lay pastoral chaplaincy training, and services to hearing impaired persons. bishopandersonhouse.org

2.  Cathedral Counseling Center , providing psychotherapeutic services for individuals, couples, families, and groups on a sliding fee scale basis. cathedralcounseling.org

3.  Cathedral Shelter, providing residential and outpatient addiction treatment; food distribution, emergency social services and supportive housing for single adults and mothers with children. .cathedralshelter.org


4.  Lawrence Hall Youth Services, providing residential, special, and alternative education programs, employment training and job placement, assistance with independent living, foster care and early childhood intervention. lawrencehall.org


5.  The Church Home at Montgomery Place, performing a ministry of Pastoral Care for the elderly and a ministry of clinical pastoral education (CPE) montgomeryplace.org


6.  Primo Center for Women and Children, providing food distribution, employment counseling, medical services and a community center for low-income families and individuals. primocenter.org
